This is a really powerful app for couples. It can help a relationship in any state to be transformed. You will have necessary conversations you've never had before. The structure of the app is well thought out: it is modular; it helps to guide you to modules to focus on; it enables individual & couple exercises on your own device in your own time; it has video input from real, imperfect people of their own relationship experiences. Every couple should download this app and use it!

The app seems pretty good and is free but both the Toucan App and Website look and feel incredibly heteronormative. As a woman who is dating another woman, the lack of representation was a bit off-putting. Also not everyone wants/enjoys sex, so that aspect felt awkward at times too. Finally the question about quality time (not including time at a screen or monitor)... for many couples in long distance relationships that is their only method of quality time. Overall though, good for most couples.

Well I just wish that it wasn't required for me to have my partner involved. He just really doesn't like apps like that and I was trying to improve our relationship on my end. :(
