About this app

OpenCanyon.org brings the canyon database from opencanyon.org to your smartphone. The app works online and offline and is suitable for planning at home and for use on location.

Features

• Offline mode – save canyons including images, topos and descriptions locally and use them without an internet connection
• Map search – find canyons on the map
• Filters and full-text search – by name, country, duration, difficulty, number of rappels and rating
• Detail view – key data, description, GPS coordinates, trip reports, photos and links
• Navigation – open coordinates in Google Maps, Organic Maps or Swisstopo
• GPX export – export the main coordinate of a canyon tour as GPX
• Community reports – descents and feedback from other users
• Content in German, French, Italian and English
