About this game

You think you know your friends? Preferences will prove it — or prove you wrong.

Everyone writes their own words on a theme. Then, one player at a time becomes the target: they secretly rank their words from least to most liked, and start crossing them out in front of everyone. The others have to guess which one just vanished.

That is where it gets interesting: nothing forces them to follow their real ranking. They can bluff. And at the end, the app compares what they showed with what they actually thought.

▸ A ROUND IN FIVE STEPS

1. Everyone writes their words in secret, on the chosen theme.
2. The target player ranks them privately — that ranking is never shown.
3. They cut one word in front of the group. Honestly, or not.
4. The others vote. A correct guess = 1 point.
5. At the end, the masks come off.

▸ FOUR WAYS TO GET FOUND OUT

• Manipulation — the gap between the order you show and the real one.
• Strategist — bluffing a lot, without anyone guessing right.
• Transparency — playing it straight, and owning it.
• Knowing the others — aiming at their real ranking, even when they bluff.

That last score changes everything: you can score zero points and still know someone inside out. At the end of the game each player gets a badge and discovers the "who knows me best" ranking. A results card is ready to share.

▸ THREE WAYS TO PLAY

• On this phone — pass the device around. No connection needed.
• Same Wi-Fi — one phone hosts, the others join it. Nothing leaves your local network.
• Remotely — everyone at home, with a four-letter code.

The rules, the scores and the design are exactly the same in all three modes.

▸ YOUR NIGHT, YOUR WORDS

Four themes come with their own word bank — My habits, My family, My friends, My job — or write a free theme of your own. The number of words and the pace of the cuts are set before you start: a quick round or a whole evening.

Each player can also describe themselves in one line, read by everyone. A clue offered to the guessers… or a lie you fully intend to tell.

▸ WHAT THIS GAME DOES NOT DO

• No account, no sign-up, no email address.
• No ads, no trackers, no analytics.
• No in-app purchases: the game is complete, nothing is locked.
• In local mode it works entirely offline.

Your honest ranking is never sent to the other players — that is the rule of the game, and it is the rule of the code too.

▸ IN SIX LANGUAGES

English, French, Spanish, German, Italian and Portuguese, suggested words included. The app follows your phone's language, and you can pick another one at any time.

2 to 8 players, 10 to 40 minutes depending on the settings. Bring it out after dinner, on a trip, or the day someone claims a little too loudly that they know everyone.
