Useful This app contains examples of numerous endgame types. While the variety of endgames is good, the move by move annotations could be a lot better and with many fewer typos. Another drawback is the non-fluid play through functionality. Useful but certainly limited.
Very Good Not many good ending apps for some reason. This one's handy. I'm sure it's tougher to program, but I'd also like to be able to play the positions against an engine. It would also be terrific to have a bunch more positions. In particular, for me at least, pawn endings. [Edit: thanks to the developer for responding. The external analysis feature is definitely nice.]
Great App Great features
Lots of potential to get better at endings Also lots of potential for the creator to practice his coding skills and enhance the GUI to react and look a little better! I like the app and will use it to practice for sure, but I wish it was just a little nicer feeling/looking. Perhaps look at some of the top chess apps and see why people like their GUIs. Keep up the good work, I will be checking back! 4 stars for now, im sure it will go up to 5 as you continue improving! :)
Novice only It's ok if you are a beginner, just learning the game. Don't expect more than a handful of positions, only very basic.
