About this app

Pure Match is a networking app for devoted Christians who believe in the same core values in the Bible, and who live accordingly.

The app connects like-minded disciples of Christ to encourage, empower, and grow closer to each other as we grow closer to God. Our mission is simply to make Christian dating great again!

The biggest problem the Pure Match creators saw in the market was that the current apps didn’t sift by Christian beliefs and lifestyle, which made it hard to find those who shared their values and greatly limited the effectiveness of the services. Another problem was that current dating apps focused mainly on appearance and first-impressions, rather than on community and character references. Finally, most dating services throw everyone into the dating pool, but don’t teach them how to swim--basically, how to be and get a catch.

That’s where Pure Match aims to be different, by including a wider network of disciples of Christ, utilizing a reviewing/recommendation feature, and providing Christ-centered dating coaching to those who want to grow closer to Christ as they grow closer to other Christians.

Pure Match is a free app, with the option to subscribe for premium features (like unlimited filters, boosts, coaching, or professional profile reviews).

The boosts and dating coaching features will likely come in future versions of the app, as those require more development, but the Pure Match team is already at work scouting the best Christian teachers to bring Biblical, evidence-based dating coaching to those who want to learn how to date in a way that honors and imitates the life and teachings of Christ.

Ratings and reviews

The app will not allow me to update my profile information or pictures after I set them initially. When I attempt to edit, I get an all-gray screen that does not go away. Anyone else experiencing this? I submitted a support ticket over 3 months ago and there has been no movement on it.

😃 When I tried to create an account, I accidentally tapped "not apart of church" and I wasn't able to sign up. Adding a confirmation functionality would be good idea. when I closed the app mid account creation and went back in. I was taken to menu, where my name was "user" as I had not finished inputting my details..I was not able to change my name from "user" Also very expensive premium pricing. When I try to use my location, the app says "null", then country I live in.

Answered their questions, only to be told i was wrong and my email was banned. Then i got an email from them suggesting discussion was possible but ultimately it turned out to be them pushing baptism as salvation, insisting it's clearly taught in scripture but couldn't provide true references (because that would be works and is unbiblical) and not listening to my sculptural argument against it. If you don't 100% agree with their erroneous beliefs they ban you. Don't waste your time.
