About this app

Want your car to sound like an expensive muscle car? Now you can!

DragFX requires a Bluetooth OBD adapter. The adapter allows DragFX to connect to your vehicle's OBD (On-board Diagnostic) interface, to allow the sound produced by DragFX to accurately match your engine's actual RPM in real time.

Without the OBD adapter, a slider allows manual control of the RPM to preview the available engine sounds.

Simple But Works. I've been using this to play around with my OBD reader and emulate car sounds in my truck. It's pretty accurate and mostly nice and loud but it would be nice if you had the option to completely disable or at least adjust the RPM at which the idle\supercharger sounds come in because it sounds weird if you slow shift at low RPM in a manual and the RPM drops low between shifts and makes the idle\supercharger sound. RPM scaling would be a fun feature for low RPM cars.

Unlike two other apps I've tried so far, this one actually uses the dynamic RPM input from my OBD adaptor and doesn't only idle. My biggest problem is that there's no scaling factor for RPM. Even if I take my diesel to its 5000RPM redline, most engine sounds are only getting going, so to speak. I'd like to set each engine sounds' redline to occur at a lower actual OBD RPM. Seems like a fairly basic function, to be fair...

If you could possibly add a start and stop button and a feture where you have to hold the start button as like you have to hold the key down when starting a car then this would be 100 percent more better this is a really awesome app in general but you should definitely add those two features to this app please and thank you
