About this app

Reclaim2K is a school-led phone-detox devotion app developed by CNEC Lau Wing Sang Secondary School for a Hong Kong secondary school pilot. It will be launched at the HK Education Bureau Curriculum Development Institute training seminar on 11 June 2026 (course CDI020261128) for HK secondary school teachers.

RECLAIM 2,000 HOURS FROM YOUR PHONE
HK teens spend 3–5 hours a day on their phones — about 2,000 minutes per month. Reclaim2K offers a simple daily alternative: short devotion, Bible verses, focus timer, and a moderated community that pulls in the same direction.

A SCHOOL-LED COLLABORATION
Reclaim2K is the moderated platform anchoring a collaborative effort by motivated students, teachers, and parents who support each other to detox from phone and social-media addiction. Seven HK secondary schools are currently registered; many more will follow after the EDB seminar launch.

SIX FEATURES BUILT AROUND THIS COLLABORATION

🎵 Student-and-teacher Suno worship songs
Lyrics by students, melodies via Suno AI, super-admin moderated, every AI-assisted item carries a 🤖 transparency badge. Shared across all participating schools.

🎮 Student-and-teacher mini-games
Through an in-app Submit Game form, students learn to build single-page HTML Bible-memorisation games as part of their IT curriculum. Approved games become playable inside the app for students at every pilot school. Includes "Polishing the Sword" (磨劍) — a custom canvas runner with focus-time bonuses (Holy Focus Coins).

📖 Per-school devotion plans
Each pilot school's own Religious Studies teachers curate the F1–F6 dictation verse plan their students see. There is no shared "canonical reading list" — every school's plan is its own.

🌐 Cross-school student community
Testimonies, prayer requests, slogan-poster designs, teacher devotion videos, and student-submitted content — all super-admin moderated, all visible across the participating schools.

⭐ Parent-facing encouragement tools
Sticker rewards, encouraging-message templates, and daily devotion-streak visibility for parents to support their children's phone-detox journey at home.

🎓 EDB-sponsored video series
"Biblical Financial Wisdom" — 10 lessons (~10 minutes each) taught by CNEC Lau Wing Sang Secondary School teachers, produced under EDB Curriculum Development Institute Phase B pilot.
