ForestLink Collect feeds data into a ForestLink web. It supports those working with remote and disconnected communities to map their territories, report on abuses, gather evidence and record territorial monitoring activities.
The ForestLink Collect App allows users to download forms that have been designed in ForestLink and use them to collect georeferenced points and polygons and related contextual information. The app can be used to carry out surveys, report on illegal activities, record events and map land parcels.
The data collected using the ForestLink Collect App is stored in ForestLink web and can be published, followed-up on, or used as evidence in legal cases or to push for change.
ForestLink Collect is designed to be used offline in remote areas where internet connectivity is often poor or non-existent.
ForestLink Collect is developed and maintained by the Rainforest Foundation UK.
