One critical aspect that is not mentioned in the Play Store description is the limited functionality on devices running Android 10 or higher. As per the app's Settings under Save History, "Background clipboard history is not available on devices with Android 10 or higher." This means that the main feature of the app is unavailable on these devices. I can confirm this on Android 13 & 14. Also, there are intrusive ads.

Worked great until it stopped saving clippings. I like to draft my important texts before sending them and rely on clipper when I need to send a quick text to someone and Dave that important draft. Recently I've lost drafts that we're perfect because it just didn't save the clips and by the time I remembered it had overwritten the most recent.

With android =>10, google disabled clipboard managers' ability to stack clippings automatically. Of the managers I know, other functions continued as before. The developer of one clipboard mgr (too simple for my needs) had the ingenuity to devise a workaround for the disabled function. See Doggo Apps' Clipboard Manager - Copy Paste (—credit where due!).
