About this app

It is a great pleasure that Paul K. Eguchi has prepared an English‐Fulfulde dictionary using Taylor’s classical Fulani‐English dictionary. Before Dr. Eguchi passed away, it was his desire to make this dictionary available in digital form. He gave SIL full permission to publish this work in digital form. It is our hope that this work will be of great use for students and researchers interested in Fulfulde/Fulbe studies. Please see the “about” section in the app for a longer explanation of the contents of Dr. Eguchi’s impressive work of scholarship.

I learned a dialect of this language a long time ago (fulakunda) and still keep in touch with people who I spoke it with. I've forgotten a decent amount of it, but this dictionary is helping me remember!

The app is great but you guys should put a speaker button where the word who be pronounce so that you can learn how to pronounce it well thanks,😁

I began to understand different words from other Fulani dialects which I found exciting.
