The Tafheemul Quran (Towards Understanding the Qur'an), written by Imam Abul A'la Maududi (Rahimahullah), is an invaluable contribution to modern Quranic Tafseer literature. It is renowned for presenting the Holy Quran as a comprehensive guidance for human life and for explaining its teachings in relation to the various challenges and problems of everyday life.

Originally written in Urdu, Tafheemul Quran has been translated into several languages and has helped countless people around the world in their study and understanding of the Quran.

Imam Maududi (Rahimahullah) began writing this world-famous Tafseer in Muharram 1361 AH (February 1942). After nearly thirty years of dedicated work, he completed the Tafseer in 1972. The complete work consists of six volumes and approximately four thousand pages.

Since its completion, Tafheemul Quran has been published in various formats. In keeping with modern technology, this important work is now available digitally, allowing readers to conveniently study the Tafseer on Android smartphones and tablets.

This app has been developed to make the English Tafheemul Quran easily accessible for reading, study, reference, and reflection. We hope that readers will benefit from this humble effort and that it will help them develop a deeper understanding of the message and guidance of the Holy Quran.
