About this app

The Snikket app allows you to join a worldwide communication network. Use the app for communicating with friends, family and colleagues via text, audio and video calls, without surrendering your data to large corporations.

ℹ️ Important Note: To get started with the app you need an invite to someone's Snikket service or to start your own (instructions on our website). The app will not work unless you have an invite to join a Snikket service.

Snikket allows you to use a service provided by someone you trust. This could be an organisation, simply a techie friend or family member. We also provide hosted options.

Both the app and service are 100% free and open-source software.

Great app, but it drains the battery like crazy. Having pop ups bothering you about battery optimization get you to disable it leading to the battery draining quite fast (50% a day isn't normal). Hopefully this will be addressed in a future release.

This is awesome as a brand, but the UI of Conversations is not the best (compared to mainstream apps), so this has the same limitation. Other than this is a great XMPP service.
