About this app

The National Registry Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT) cognitive exam is a computer adaptive test (CAT). The number of items a candidate can expect on the EMT-B exam will range from 70 to 120. Each exam will have between 60 to 110 ‘live’ items that count toward the final score. The exam will also have 10 pilot questions that do not affect the final score. The maximum amount of time given to complete the exam is 2 hours.

The exam will cover the entire spectrum of EMS care including: Airway, Respiration & Ventilation; Cardiology & Resuscitation; Trauma; Medical; Obstetrics/Gynecology; EMS Operations. Items related to patient care are focused on adult and geriatric patients (85%) and pediatric patients (15%). In order to pass the exam, candidates must meet a standard level of competency. The passing standard is defined by the ability to provide safe and effective entry level emergency medical care.

This app was an absolute life saver! I would not have passed the NREMT without this app. The questions are amazing and just what the test is like. I will say some of the questions are inconsistent and contradict each other, also if you uninstall the app or want it on a second device you will have to buy the subscription twice, for whatever reason it won't transfer over even after clicking the restore purchase button.

I don't know why, but the option to email or unsubscribe does not work. Will I be charged monthly indefinitely? The material seems great, but I'm a little sketched out by the fact that there is no option to cancel, etc. Maybe the $2.99 was a purchase and not a monthly charge? I'm not sure, and there's no way for me to go look.

I took my cognitive emt exam twice before using this app, failing both times (i waited to take the test rather than taking it immediately). I downloaded this app literally I week before my 3rd time taking the test. I payed 2.99 for the week to be able to take all of the tests. I passed!!! This app really helps with scenario based questions, and also gives great feedback with questions, whether right or wrong. This app really helped me get down needed topics.
