About this game
A fast paced blitz word game based on erudit rules(a wordsmith, words, scholar).
Slightly different rules:
1) Words can be placed right next to other words (unlike a standard crossword). Since you only have 1 or 2 minutes per turn, this helps you form words quickly.
2) If a valid word is formed in either the vertical or horizontal direction, it counts-even if the letters in the other direction form nonsense.
3) After your turn, valid words and their point values appear in the top right corner.
4) Points are awarded only for words found in the dictionary. No points are given for letters simply sitting next to each other.
5) Otherwise, it follows classic rules: Players hold 7 letters randomly drawn from a bag. Drag them onto the game board. Letters must be placed adjacent to existing ones. Arrange letters to form new words vertically or horizontally; each new word must include at least one letter already on the board.
Letters have different values; rare letters yield more points.
Play up to 250 points in standard mode or 130 points in a quick match.
The board features special squares that multiply letter or word values; these are labeled and color coded.
