About this app

The "Route Fare/Kilometer Calculation App" displays the fare and operating kilometers for a specified route on JR Group lines.
Unlike general route search apps, it does not offer time-specified optimized route searches or information on express or discount tickets, but it does allow you to easily specify complex routes manually.
It calculates the fare for one-way (single-pass) and round-trip tickets for a single trip along a continuous section of a standard passenger fare calculation route. It does not support lines other than those operated by JR passenger companies.
It lists all routes and stations of the six JR companies, as well as sections of other company lines served by some JR express trains.

This software can be used for the following purposes:
- Planning long-distance rail travel routes
- Calculating fares for complex routes
- Checking the operating kilometers and calculated kilometers for any section
- Checking the validity period of a ticket
- ​​Creating a long-distance rail ticket plan
- Using the Seishun 18 Ticket or various discount tickets to determine how much you saved on a trip, or whether it would be cheaper to buy a regular ticket
- ​​Knowing the prices before and after your destination
- Checking whether splitting your trip will save you money
- Planning your budget while taking an imaginary trip
