About this app

We are The Person Project. We are scientists at Princeton University, and we are fascinated by the internal mental world and all of the thoughts, perceptions, and emotions it comprises. We are driven to understand the external social world and all of the social connections we share.

The Person Project aims to understand why people do what they do. Our goal is to test specific hypotheses about human social cognition and behavior. We want to reach people from all different backgrounds, locations, and abilities, and include them in the latest psychology research.

The Person Project helps you learn about you. Choose from dozens of surveys and studies to learn more about you, your mind, and your relationships. After participating in each study, you will receive immediate, personalized feedback, and further information about the research topic that you are contributing to.

Got me to download app and join up via Prolific. App is very glitchy and picks and chooses when it sends you notifications. Some days you get one or two or the full three if you're lucky for the study you're enrolled in and other days you get none even with notifications turned on all the time. Without a notification it won't let you do the study. Very disappointing.

The studies seem worthwhile, but if you're from a country where post codes have letters as well as numbers, you can't sign up through the app because there's only a number pad. Browser sign up worked, I may be able to sign in and use the app now.
