*** Connection Troubleshooting
Sofa Server discovery works pretty well but there are some external factors that may interfere with it:
- Are your devices on the same Wi-Fi network?
- Did you start the Sofa Server? There should be a small sofa icon on the menu bar.
- Is the Mac firewall enabled and blocking all connections? Try disabling it temporarily. If that works, reenable and tweak its options.
- Is your router blocking multicast?
- Is your Mac connected via ethernet and your router creates a separate Wi-Fi network?

I've installed Sofa Server and run it on my Mac. I've paired my phone and both are on the same WiFi. But the app can't find the server running on the Mac (Mini, 2920, 10.15.7) So for now it's not working. If I can get it working I'll up my star rating. Server installed with no issues.

Maybe your router somehow blocks multicast? Check the connection troubleshooting in the Play Store app description.

All of the computer related controls are not working except mute. Can't restart, lock, or turn off, can adjust volume slider, can't adjust brightness.

Don't forget to accept the required permissions on the Mac when the dialog pops up.

App is useful but lack just one feature. Should've been best if it had mouse control as well.

I'll look into mouse control for a future release. But I really prefer navigating the UI with "tab arrows" and arrows. Activate the selected item using the "circle" icon. Did you try? Did it work for the apps you are trying to control?
