About this app

Have you ever tried to download a video that is displayed inside a tweet? You can play it, but you simply can't download it. This app will let you download them in a very easy way:

1. In Twitter, select "Copy Link to Tweet" in the tweet's upper-right corner menu
2. Switch to this app and click "Paste", then "Download"

Optionally you can click the "Share" icon in Twitter (lower-right corner), select this app and it will take you directly to the download page.

Ratings and reviews

I originally gave this 5 stars, but the app rarely works these days because of Twitter API issues brought on by Elon Musk. When the videos download, they work beautifully. Alas, 9 times out of 10 in recent months, when you try to download vids, error messages are more likely to pop up. Hopefully, this will get fixed in the future.

Utter garbage. Lasted about 1 minute before I un-installed. Hope the 2-3 pennies you got in ad revenue was worth it. I pasted 3 different links to the same GIF. It claims there's no media at the links. Useless trap. Make a trash app in 45 seconds, load it with ads. Half a million downloads at a penny or more per download is a nice payday for what amounts to about an hours work. Well done. 👍

Seems to work well, with one exception: Not sure if this an iframe issue in the source video format, or an issue with Tweet2gif trying to be "smart", but I'm having videos clipped down to only the first viable loop, instead of converting the entire video file... I'm not seeing an option in settings for this either, not even in the greyed-out Pro options...
