About this app

Have you ever tried to download a video that is displayed inside a tweet? You can play it, but you simply can't download it. This app will let you download them in a very easy way:

1. In Twitter, select "Copy Link to Tweet" in the tweet's upper-right corner menu
2. Switch to this app and click "Paste", then "Download"

Optionally you can click the "Share" icon in Twitter (lower-right corner), select this app and it will take you directly to the download page.

The app generally does what it is supposed to. However, I had to finally uninstall it because it constantly hijacks any attempt to click a link to view a tweet, even when the tweet in question contains absolutely no media for it to download. The app has never been set as a default, and even when setting my browser as the default to always view tweets, Android will ask again the next time I click a link (and as noted above, tweet2gif will still try to open regardless of your choice).

After trying several [unsatisfactory] twitter graphics downloaders, I found this one. It is by far the best, offering both gif & mp4 choice This is a good product- I hope they don't ruin it with useless cosmetic "improvements". ***worked fine for months- then required update, has been failing since. tried uninstall then re-installed. One success copy then resumed crashing. Latest re-install has resumed excellance Develops glitch requiring re-installation after several dozen downloads.
