Tux Paint is a free, award-winning drawing program for children ages 3 to 12 (for example, preschool and K-6). Tux Paint is used in schools around the world as a computer literacy drawing activity. It combines an easy-to-use interface, fun sound effects, and an encouraging cartoon mascot who guides children as they use the program.

Kids are presented with a blank canvas and a variety of drawing tools to help them be creative.

Adults enjoy using Tux Paint too; both for nostalgia, and as a break from more complicated professional art tools. Also, Tux Paint has become popular for generating "glitch art", thanks to its numerous special effect tools.

Loved this as a kid, and now 20 years later I play it with the kids I babysit and they love it too. Tons of options mixed with fun sound effects creates a great environment for creative, exploratory play during screen time.

There are lots of apps, but this is the best and most nostalgic! We used to play and draw on tux paint on our school computers! 2005 graphics, super cool effects! I love this app! I also have it on my Ubuntu laptop! Not five stars, infinite stars!!! My first ever computer game to play! (computer, not phone or Nintendo)

Do you want to know the reason that why I am wollging to miss 1 more star? Okay, because i don't have an option to save the drawing i made and if I select a new color in the color box/cabinet, I think that when I select the colour that is already in the box and don't need to add for eg dark grey, red and blue, then that new color disappeares. But that didn't happen and the main part is BRUSHES TOOL!!!😩🔥❤️‍🔥💔 the . (Medium). . meant size's option has always like this ....... So plzz fx this.
