Talk instead of type. Tap the mic and speak; Untype types what you say straight into any app: messages, email, notes, search, social. No more thumbing out long replies.

And when you do type, Untype keeps up — fast, accurate autocorrect, next-word suggestions, and tap-to-fix recorrection that lets you correct a word after the fact with a single tap. It quietly learns the words you use — names, slang, abbreviations — so it stops fighting you.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
The words you type and the vocabulary Untype learns stay on your device — they are never uploaded. Voice recordings are sent securely only to transcribe them, and you can request their deletion at any time.

What’s new

Typing
• Autocorrect now fixes a slipped letter inside a contraction — "eont" becomes "won't".
• Swiped words are spelt by the same rules as typed ones.

Space bar
• No longer turns into a cursor trackpad by accident, and stops doubling spaces.
• Slide up and down as well as left and right to move the cursor between lines.

Swipe typing
• A new brush-stroke trail, and a confirming buzz when a word lands.

Also: the app icon is no longer cropped.
