Galaxy s5 LOVE THIS APP AND STATION! I got the app specifically so I would never miss the Glen Jones and X Ray Burns show and Martha. ( <3 ☺ ) Functions great. Able to access the archive and all types of fun stuff. If you love this station, this app is a must. If you don't love it you never listened!
Fantastic, but needs more buffer options An excellent app that lets us take part in our favourite radio station! The archive and especially recent archive menus in this new version are really valuable. The interface is okay but a bit clumsy at times. For example in the main archive menu, the list of shows is just so long. It would be nice to pick them alphabetically, or have a "fave" list where we can add shows we like to access them quickly. The most important thing that I think needs to be addressed is the lack of buffer settings. Most radio apps allow you to choose your buffer size, usually up to 30s. This is really useful when either my own or WFMU's connection is having hiccups, and would prevent the app from giving up on loading the stream.
Great! Update: Developer fixed the below, now 5 stars. Great app. [The new version needs a data connection to load several of the menus, meaning you can't access any shows you've saved to your phone when you've no data connection (as I recently found on a long haul flight). A fix would be great, as this is otherwise an essential app for me]
the unpredictable miracle wfmu has expired and revived yet again with an immortal ap. wfmu on smartphone trancends fate.
Brilliant. At last the scrobbling works. Smoothly working app with simple and nice design. Good features (favourites, so I can easily keep a list of tracks I like, and access to the online forum with the dj and other listeners) and info (tracklist and schedule of shows). Works nicely. And listening to maybe the world's best radio station. One suggestion only - integration of wfmu user login and profile with this app).
Great station. I can't get the app to run these days (doesnt advance beyond "buffering") so when I listen to the station I use a general radio app. You may find this app useful for knowing the station schedule as it gives the dates and times for one's own local area.
Fixes a bug: some screens wouldn't update when no network connection
A scrobbler that submits information to Last.fm on what music you play.
