Update (4/17/21) Yup, just quits playing all of the time and if it's an archive you lose your spot which is very annoying. Not helping me sell my friends on WFMU here in KCMO. :( Update (2-1-21): Okay, very confusing. I updated Android and recent archive shows only played for 5 seconds. Reinstalled app. Fine for now? Update (1-28-21): Sorry, I have to lower my rating. In the last couple months, shows have been just stopping. I have experienced this on both live programming and archived shows. I wish there was a skip forward or backward option. The nav is useless on a phone when it represents a scale of 2" for three hours. Whose fingers are that small?

I'm coming from iOS where the WFMU app is both attractive and functional. I'm sad to say that the Android version is neither. The now playing info is slow to update if it does at all and I can expect about 10 minutes of play before it cuts out without warning and won't restart without input. At almost 7 years old this app is long overdue for some TLC. I love my WFMU and will keep listening but knowing that I have to rely on this app to do so is discouraging.

Love the features but I keep having buffering issues no matter how strong my 4G and/or WiFi is. I often cant go 10 minutes without the audio feed dropping out and never coming back without manually pressing the play button... only to have to do so again minutes later. It really sucks if you are playing an archived show as it will not remember where it left off.
