Revised review, Notepad does have a backup feature, you just have to remember where you saved it. If needed that same file could be used to restore your notes to a new phone, if it doesn't transfer automatically. Keeping notes and adding to it is great. In addition, you can do a mass search and the note that contains that searched word will be displayed to be opened. It is very easy to use.

all of a sudden, you can't view any attachments like tickets, coupon codes, photos, etc. This makes the app worthless. and I have the paid version! To the developer, PLEASE fix this issue. The app is now worthless and years worth of saved notes attachments can no longer be viewed. It needs to be fixed or rolled back.

Updated review 3/1/2026 It has been several months since whatever issue it was having was corrected and I am happy to say all is working fine for me now, so bumping to 5 stars. Have been using this for more than 3 years and the past few days, it's become buggy. The app won't open, or when it does it does not my open my selected list. Just a blank and black screen. What's up with it???
