Revised review, Notepad does have a backup feature, you just have to remember where you saved it. If needed that same file could be used to restore your notes to a new phone, if it doesn't transfer automatically. Keeping notes and adding to it is great. In addition, you can do a mass search and the note that contains that searched word will be displayed to be opened. It is very easy to use.

Updated review 3/1/2026 It has been several months since whatever issue it was having was corrected and I am happy to say all is working fine for me now, so bumping to 5 stars. Have been using this for more than 3 years and the past few days, it's become buggy. The app won't open, or when it does it does not my open my selected list. Just a blank and black screen. What's up with it???

Could use a little Help for new users, otherwise very good. Easy learning curve, adequate text/font, etc, options. Synchronizes thru Drive to other devices!!! Many uses, many options. I've had it for 5+ years and couldn't function without it. Very low one-time premier purchase price, transfers to new phones. LOVE it! A few years later on and still love it. Greatest and easiest-to-use app ever!
