USAGE
● move forward and backward in the calendar by swiping vertically
● switch between calendar views with a horizontal swipe (opens the day or week you start the swipe gesture on) or double-tap for day view
● tap to open a calendar event
● long-press to add new calendar event
● long-press on mini-month to go to today or jump to date
● configurable actions on 3-finger-tap, tap on title, volume buttons
● long press an event in day view to drag to a different time

Ratings and reviews

I have used a calendar for years and find it to be easy to use with many customization options. It seems that I used to be able to set alarms for my appointments, rather than notifications. I haven't found a way to set a ringtone for a calendar notification, and the short tone that is used now does not catch my attention. Hoping that this is changed so I don't have to find another calendar app. Thanks for the good work!

It used to be better! There's now an extra step required to snooze an event/reminder for a certain amount of time. You used to go directly from click/snooze to snooze/time. Now a random default snooze time of 10 or 15 mins (that I'm sure is helpful to no one), so you have to click into snooze, then the default, then snooze/time. It's the little things folks... And if this wasn't a purposeful change, then I'd recommend more regression testing.

[Update: loses one star for very rarely (twice in several years) reverting to an older state, restoring deleted past events and deleting upcoming ones] Love aCalendar! One request: When recurring weekly events are edited en masse, changing the date should automatically adjust the day of the week on which the event recurs as well. That it does not feels counterintuitive, and if the user doesn't doublecheck they might not even notice that the desired effect was not achieved. Thanks!
