Great details on minerals on a technical level. Ideas for improvement: *Add minerals reaction to long wave and short wave ultraviolet light. *Break some minerals into subgroups that can have divergent traits or properties. For example in its lattice Beryllium is partially replaced by Cesium. *Have a option to download and cache locally all mineral photos. *Create an ad free, paid version (same content, no ads) *Add 3D models of crystal structure like they use on mindat.

So far so good! However, I would like to see some way to hear each minerals name pronounced. Like a play button next to the name for people who do not know how to say it. That can be so embarrassing when you're new to something and in a tight knit and smart community like rockhounding is, it would just be helpful to not worry about looking like an idiot to people a bit more legit sounding than I am currently when discussing our hobby via fb groups etc

I'm for something very simple. I don't need to know composition. Just mineral, ore, common rock. I collect rocks for how unusual, fascinating, color, texture. And very app I try is sooooo frustrating for a visual collector!
