Vinyl IQ is the vinyl record value scanner that tells you what a record is really worth. Snap the cover or scan the barcode of any LP, cassette, or CD and Vinyl IQ identifies the release, narrows it to the exact pressing, and shows its current market value.
Pressing is everything. A first press can be worth ten times a reissue with the same cover, so Vinyl IQ looks past the album to the details that set the price: label, catalog number, country, year, and the clues printed on the sleeve.
WHO IT'S FOR
Crate diggers checking the dollar bin, collectors cataloging a record collection, sellers pricing a lot, and anyone who inherited a box of records and wants to know what they have.
HOW IT WORKS
1. Scan. Take a photo of the cover, pick one from your gallery, or scan the barcode.
2. Identify. AI reads the artwork, labels, and stickers to name the release and the likely pressing, with condition notes from the photo.
3. Price. Confirm the pressing from the Discogs catalog and see the lowest current listing and how many copies are for sale. Set the condition grade, from Mint to Good, and the record value updates.
