About this app

Connect counseling theory with the reasoning behind an exam answer. Passy helps you prepare for the National Counselor Examination (NCE) with practice questions, explanations and AI Rescue, giving you a way to work through concepts that can sound similar at first.

Review a theory, examine how it applies and return to the topics that deserve more attention.

Bring counseling knowledge into focus
Review professional counseling and ethics, social and cultural diversity, human growth and development, career counseling, helping relationships, group counseling, assessment, and research. Practice distinguishing theoretical approaches and applying concepts to counseling questions.

Get help when a question doesn't click
AI Rescue offers help based on your answer:
• After an incorrect answer, tap "Why was I wrong?" for an explanation focused on your chosen answer.
• After a correct answer, tap "Challenge Me" for a similar question that checks your understanding.

When two approaches seem plausible, use extra help to examine the theoretical or ethical distinction behind the answer.

Know what to review next
See your practice accuracy by subject to choose a useful focus for your next session. Fix It brings missed questions back for review, helping you connect the explanation with the concept you want to remember.

Make study time work for you
• Subject practice: concentrate on one area of counseling knowledge.
• Timed mock exams: practice considering answer choices while maintaining your pace.
• Flashcards and Boost: refresh theories, terminology and useful study tips.
• Cram: focus your review as the exam approaches.
