25 years of Eichelmann: The most comprehensive and critical guide to Germany's wines.
It is the most successful German wine guide and is considered the most critical voice on German wine: What winemakers don't always love, readers appreciate. The new inventory of German wine is now available: "Eichelmann 2025 Germany's Wines" offers an introduction to the German wine-growing regions, portraits of the best producers - including 88 new producers and 284 organic wineries - and the evaluation and description of their wines.
Eichelmann 2025 presents 870 wineries and 9,650 wines selected by the proven team of tasters. The wines are rated using the internationally common 100-point system that Gerhard Eichelmann introduced in Germany. Price and alcohol information can also be found, and wines with a particularly good price-performance ratio are highlighted. Each winery is rated up to 5 stars for its overall performance. It is important for the consumer that not only top products are presented and used for company evaluation, but also all wines, including entry-level qualities (the book edition, hardcover, costs 39.95 euros).
