About this app

PDF Pro is a PDF reader and editor for your phone. Open a PDF, fill in a form, sign it with your finger, merge or split files, or scan a paper page to PDF. It works offline, and you don't need an account.

Read PDFs
Open PDFs from your files or from other apps. Scroll page by page or in one long strip, pinch to zoom, and search for a word, with every match highlighted. Add bookmarks, jump around with the page thumbnails and outline, and print or share a file from the menu.

Sign a PDF and fill in forms
Type your signature, draw it, or scan your handwriting with the camera. Put it on the page, then move, resize or rotate it until it fits. You can fill in a PDF form the same way, then save the result as a normal PDF.

Annotate and mark up
For quick jobs it works as a PDF editor. Highlight, underline or strike through text, add text, shapes, arrows, stamps and sticky notes, or draw freehand in any color. To hide something before you share a file, search for the words and redact the matches.

Merge, split, compress and organize
Merge PDF files into one document. Split a PDF and keep only the pages you pick. Rotate or delete pages, compress a large PDF so it is smaller to send, and compare two PDFs side by side to see what changed.

Scan and convert
Scan paper to PDF with your camera. Turn photos and JPG or PNG images into a PDF (fit to the image, A4 or Letter, with or without margins), or save PDF pages as PNG or JPG pictures.

PDF to Word and PDF to Excel copy the text across. Images, charts and complicated layouts stay behind, so look over the result. PDF to PowerPoint makes one slide per page, as a picture. Word to PDF, Excel to PDF and PowerPoint to PDF work too.

Password protection
Lock a PDF with a password (AES-256) and choose whether it can be printed or copied. Remove the password later if you know it. Each time you save your edits, PDF Pro keeps a copy of the earlier version, so you can go back.

Good to know
Editing, converting and scanning happen on your phone, not on a server. The first time you scan, Google Play services has to download its scanner, so you need to be online once for that. If something doesn't work the way you expect, use Leave a feedback in the app and tell us what happened.
