About this app

Split Second turns your shooting videos into clear, reviewable timing data.
Import a stage video, and the app automatically detects the start beep and individual shots. Its AI-powered audio model, trained on a dataset containing tens of thousands of gunshot samples, verifies shot candidates and helps distinguish real shots from echoes, background noise, and other sharp sounds.
Review every detection on an interactive waveform, correct marker positions when needed, and create a finished video with the shot timer overlaid directly onto the footage.
Key features:
• Automatic start beep and shot detection
• Dedicated Real Steel and Airsoft detection models
• AI-based shot candidate verification
• Interactive waveform with precise marker editing
• Shot time and split-time calculation
• Video trimming and playback review
• Customizable shot timer overlay
• Full-resolution video encoding
• Easy saving and sharing
• Automatic saving and restoration of previous edits
Video and audio analysis is performed directly on your device. Automatic detection results may vary depending on recording quality, distance, echoes, and background noise. All detected markers can be reviewed and adjusted before exporting.
Whether you are reviewing a practice session or analyzing a competition stage, Split Second helps you find every important moment—from the start beep to the final shot.

Designed for analyzing practical shooting matches and training videos, including IPSC, USPSA, IDPA, and Steel Challenge.

Split Second is an independently developed video analysis tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by IPSC, USPSA, IDPA, or Steel Challenge.
