The calculator has all the functions that would be expected of a basic scientific calculator and a number of more advanced features too, including complex numbers and logic functions.

The calculator is customizable allowing you to change the colors of the screen, background and all the individual buttons, allowing you to personalize its appearance.

A fully ad free version of this app is also available.

the Scientific Calculator's features include

• basic mathematics operators addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and powers.

• conversion between decimal and surd answers.

• indices and roots.

• logarithms base 2 to 10 and base e (natural logarithm).

• trigonometric and hyperbolic functions and their inverses and reciprocals.

• complex numbers can be entered and displayed in polar or component form.

• all valid functions work with complex numbers, including trigonometric and inverse trigonometric functions.

• logic operations and conversion between bases, including choice of two's compliment or unsigned for decimal answers.

• 26 scientific constants.

• unit conversions.

• factorials, combinations and permutations.

• degrees, minutes, seconds, radians and gradians conversions.

• fractions and percentages key.

• absolute function.

• previous 10 calculations stored and re-editable.

• last answer key (ANS) and five separate memories.

• random number generators including normal, poisson and binomial as well as uniform distributions.

• probability distribution calculator for normal, poisson, binomial, student-t, F, chi-squared, exponential and geometric distributions.

• user definable decimal marker (point or comma).

• choice of division symbol.

• automatic, scientific or engineering output.

• automatic or manual entry for unary minus.

• optional thousands separator. Choose between space or comma / point (depends on decimal marker).

• variable precision up to 15 significant figures.

• scrollable screen allowing arbitrarily long calculations to be entered and edited.

Aren't any square root symbol 😲😲😲

How does one get the cube (or cube root) of a number? Where are the Memory Functions (M+ M- MR MC)? Edit: Developer gave speedy (same day) helpful reply. Will evaluate. Gracias, Amigo.

Great calculator. Thanks for adding copy results feature. Is it possible to also include paste values to the calculator screen?

How can we calculate anti log from this ? Please tell me fast..

Yes there is. It's in the top left. You can see it clearly in the screenshots too. If you've got the calculator set to logic mode then it's not available but if you put it back into calc or complex mode it will be available to use again. I hope this helps you locate the square root key. Philip Stephens May 10, 2017

Thank you for the review. If you press the key to the right of the settings key, just below the calculator screen, it brings up the extra functions and their long key press short cuts. For example long press the square root or x squared key for all the other roots and powers. Long press the equals key for help with each mode. I hope this helps. Philip Stephens May 12, 2017

Hello, thank you for the review. I've now added this to the latest update. Long press equals, and scroll down, for information on using the paste facility.
I feel it only fair to warn you that this update also includes the addition of an ad-banner on the menu screens. The main calculator screen, however, remains totally ad-free. Philip Stephens May 9, 2017

Press the inv key to change the Ln and Log keys to e to the power x and 10 to the power x, which is the anti log and anti ln. I hope this helps. Helped me alot with its fractional feature thanks Philip for making this great calculator

OMG GET THIS CALCULATOR! I love this app SO much when playing music if the app is clicked on it turns it up. You can do all your math homework on it no matter the subject (I.e Pre-Algebra, algebra 1and 2 calculus, etc) this shot is great 20/10

Use this alot for grocery shopping or work calculations. Easy to use. Great iob! Please dont change !!

Hello, thank you for the review. You can scroll through the last 10 calculations for each mode, and edit and re-enter them, using the up and down arrows near the top of the calculator.. Excellent free calculator with a high level of customizability.

Braket error is so annoying... I don't know how to remove..

Philip Stephens February 13, 2017

I've now updated the app so that if you leave a bracket open it will automatically be closed at the end of the calculation. For example if you enter sin(30 without closing the bracket it will now close the bracket and calculate sin(30). This can be switched off in the settings menu to revert back to the original error warning message. Great app. However at present only 4.5 stars worth. But since there's no such ratings available, I rounded it off to 5 😉. Now the thing that is missing is- not being to able to write fractions & do mathematical operations with them. It is a necessary feature of scientific calculators, at least for me. So I hope you'll introduce this feature soon. Then it'll truly become a 5 star app. Good luck... ☺

Hello, thank you for the review. You can enter fractions using the fraction key (to the left of the abs key) I've added a section to the mode help (long press =) to describe how to enter fractions. You can also switch a result between fraction/surd and decimal output by pressing the fraction key while the result is still displayed on the screen. Excellent. NO ADVERTS. A good calculator. Very sophisticated, so could do with good documentation on some thungs. Program does not need any privileges to instal.

Overall amazing Got it now. The problem is solved. Outstanding app. I love it.

Hello Salman. I'm glad you like the app overall. I've done that on purpose to avoid any ambiguities about when a complex caclulation would be treating a value as an angle or not. You can still input a value in degrees or gradians using the degree or gradian symbol. Also when outputing in polar form the dms button will change the output angle unit. Amazing!! Just the thing i needed!! Don't know why this app doesn't have more downloads. Keep up the good work!!

Hello. Thank you for the review. I've tried to keep the calculator as intuitive as possible but will be adding some help dialogs to the app in the very near future. I'm not sure what you mean by "yet no phone memory" if you could explain it may help me to improve the app further in future updates. Philip Stephens January 15, 2017

Long press the fraction key. The menu with all the long key press short cuts can be accessed by pressing the button to the right of the settings key, near the top of the calculator. I hope this helps. Review deleted
