CaseMate is the court diary your law firm already keeps, on the phone of whoever is standing in court.
An advocate opens it outside the courtroom and sees the day's cause list: the case number, the court, the client, and what the hearing is for. When the judge has spoken, they record the outcome and the next date of hearing before they leave the building — while it is still fresh, not that evening from memory.
Nothing goes on the record on one person's word. Every report waits for the firm's administrator to approve it, so the diary the partners rely on stays the firm's own record. The associate can see exactly what happened to each report: waiting, approved, or sent back.
WHAT YOU CAN DO
• See today's hearings, and any day before or after it
• Look ahead to tomorrow and the rest of the week
• Open any case you are carrying and read its full hearing history
• Report an outcome — adjourned, decided, dismissed, rejected, cancelled — with the next date and a note for the office
• See what the office did with every report you have sent
• Spot hearings that came and went with nothing recorded, so none is quietly forgotten
BUILT FOR PAKISTANI PRACTICE
The courts, case types and case numbering are the ones a firm here actually uses: the Supreme Court, the High Courts, district and sessions courts, civil and judicial magistrate courts, family and guardian courts, rent tribunals, banking and accountability courts, the Appellate Tribunal Inland Revenue, service tribunals and NIRC. Writ petitions, civil suits, criminal appeals, R.F.A.s, bail applications, khula and dissolution, succession, execution — all there without configuring anything.
HOW ACCOUNTS WORK
There is no sign-up in the app. A firm's administrator creates each partner and associate in the desktop system, and they are emailed when their account is ready.
Signing in takes an email address and a six-digit code we send. There is no password to remember, to forget, or to share around the office — and a code works once and expires in ten minutes.
WHAT THE APP DOES NOT DO
It takes no payment. It shows no advertising. It sends nothing about your cases to anybody but your own firm. An associate is never shown the fee on a case.
WHO IT IS FOR
Advocates, associates and partners in law firms and chambers across Pakistan — Lahore, Karachi, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Peshawar, Quetta and anywhere a cause list is read in the morning.
A firm account is required. Your firm can set one up at casemate.pk
