About this app

Pak identity is NADRA’s Online identity issuance service for Pakistani citizens that provides an end-to-end solution for applying for identity card. NADRA has launched this app to facilitate Pakistani citizens to apply for following identity documents
• Modification of CNIC
• Renewal of CNIC
• Reprint / Lost of CNIC
• New NICOP
• Modification of NICOP
• Renewal of NICOP
• Reprint / Lost of NICOP

Functionalities:
• Account creation with email, mobile number and biometric verification.
• User login through biometrics (Fingerprints / Facial)
• User-based inbox with a list of all applications
• Interactive data acquisition
• ICAO-based photograph capture through the mobile camera.
• Fingerprints acquisition through mobile camera
• Digital signature capture through the mobile touchscreen
• Document upload through both mobile cameras and by uploading files
• Attester verification through OTP
• Online payments

Doesn't seem to work. I kept getting stuck at biometric verification; it said "Scan is complete," but verification kept failing. When it finally worked, I got a popup saying, "You are on a cool-down window. Please wait 2 hours to log in." The developers deserve an Oscar. :) Update: I finally got in after reinstalling the app a couple of times. FYI, If you're doing biometrics for your minor child, choose "Yourself" and complete your own verification. The Other option doesn't work.

Taking a picture is difficult. App picture setting sensitive. it took us 3 hours to take a picture at the same spot and I the same position. it kept saying doesn't recognize and can't find loveliness. I did the same process for my American passport Renewal and I was done with the Application in 10 minutes Total. Application needs to be less sensitive and the glitches need to go. Still need a lot of work. It shouldn't be a Rocket Science to take a Basic Picture.

Update: I had previously faced the 'Lioness initialization failed' error while trying to verify my identity. The camera wasn't opening and liveness check kept failing. After reporting the issue, I’m happy to say that it has now been resolved. The app is working properly and I was able to complete the verification process successfully. Thank you to the support team for fixing it!"

4. JazzCash – Updated the JazzCash icon on the payment screen.
5. Certificate Downloads – Added the option to download certificates in PakID for applications submitted at NADRA Centres.
