Pak identity is NADRA’s Online identity issuance service for Pakistani citizens that provides an end-to-end solution for applying for identity card. NADRA has launched this app to facilitate Pakistani citizens to apply for following identity documents

• Reprint / Lost of CNIC
• New NICOP
• Modification of NICOP
• Renewal of NICOP
• Reprint / Lost of NICOP

Functionalities:
• Account creation with email, mobile number and biometric verification.
• User login through biometrics (Fingerprints / Facial)
• User-based inbox with a list of all applications
• Interactive data acquisition
• ICAO-based photograph capture through the mobile camera.
• Fingerprints acquisition through mobile camera
• Digital signature capture through the mobile touchscreen
• Document upload through both mobile cameras and by uploading files
• Attester verification through OTP
• Online payments

Ratings and reviews

Full of errors, very annoying. Any time I press a dropdown menu or tap next, it throws an error first time with a very generic message, system error try again later or something. First when I applied, they processed my executive application in 3-4 months and then suddenly said to me your card could not be printed because your address was too long, like I should have known in advance the character limit.

The app is anything but intuitive. It feels deliberately confusing, as if it’s been designed to discourage users from successfully completing their application. Basic functions are buried, guidance is non-existent, and the overall experience is frustrating. For something as important as national ID processing, this level of poor design is unacceptable.

This app has given me the worst experience ever. It expects me to go outside just to get a GPS signal and a stable internet connection for signing up -- while other apps that require GPS or Internet work perfectly fine on the same phone and in the same location I was super excited to download this app hoping it would save me from the hassle of standing in long queues outside NADRA offices. Unfortunately, it has only left me frustrated and disappointed. This needs urgent fixing.

1. Urdu Language Support: Added Urdu localization for onboarding screens.
2. Office Mistake Category added.
3. Enabled facial verification as an option when submitting a relative attestation.
4. Implemented digital (dematerialized) PALS license issuance and management through ID Vault.
