About this app

TechDroid Rider is the delivery companion app for stores running on the TechDroid POS platform. It lets delivery riders receive assigned orders, navigate to customers, and keep the store's dispatcher updated with their live location in real time.

Riders sign in with their store code and rider credentials to see the deliveries assigned to them. Each order shows the customer's name, address, contact number, order number, itemized invoice and the amount to collect, so the rider has everything needed for a smooth drop-off.

• Live order queue — see all deliveries assigned to you, updated automatically.
• One-tap navigation — open the delivery address directly in your maps app.
• Real-time GPS tracking — your store's dispatch screen sees your live position on a map to coordinate deliveries and answer customer "where is my order?" calls.
• Complete or mark failed — update each delivery's status on the spot; add an optional note when an attempt fails.
• Order details & invoice — tap any order to view the full itemized invoice, taxes and total.
• Rider stats — a simple view of your own deliveries, amounts collected, prepaid orders and delivery charges.
• Order notifications — get notified the moment a new order is assigned to you.
• Stay online while riding — an optional "keep screen on" mode and reliable background location keep you connected even when the phone is in your pocket.

TechDroid Rider is intended for delivery staff of businesses that use TechDroid ERP. You need a valid store account and rider login provided by your store to use the app.

Location use: the app collects your location in the background only while you are on shift and online, so your store can track active deliveries. You can go offline at any time to stop location sharing.
