The "Bison observer" application was created to improve the monitoring of free bison populations in Poland carried out by the Association of European Bison Friends.
Users' observations enrich the year-long inventory of the species.
The European Bison Friends Society was established in November 2005. It conducts educational, training, consulting, consulting and scientific activities. Under the auspices of SMŻ, the exchange of bison is carried out between breeding centers in the country and abroad.
