PulpUp is a multimedia platform created for people who share a passion for good stories. The goal that guided us when designing the application was to develop our main slogan: it's the story that counts. Well, since it's the music that counts, you should use all available options to let it resonate as fully as possible.
Of course, we started with the basic functionalities, such as an ebook reader or an audio player. However, we knew that it was not enough to give our recipients the freedom to absorb our content. Hence PulpSync, an option to synchronize between digital forms. Thanks to it, everyone can seamlessly switch from audio to ebook and back, adjusting the medium to their rhythm of the day.
Or maybe you want to influence the story you read? Some of our stories will create such an opportunity for you to feel even more strongly that you are in this story.
Drawing on our experience from the games and DVD market, we also decided to enrich our stories with additional content. Thanks to the enhanced option, the reader can see the backstage of a given scene while reading, having an insight into how the author imagined it. The extended version is also an opportunity to deepen the issues raised in the book with the help of concise articles or links, or an opportunity to see additional illustrations. Thanks to it, the creative process itself becomes part of a story that everyone can experience.
In addition to the extended version, the application is a space to show additional multimedia materials. Conversations with experts, materials from book video documentation, reviews and discussions about books presented in an interesting form are something that we want to become our standard.
PulpUp is also a platform for stories, thematic podcasts, vlogs, columns and essays created by specialists. It is also a place for our friendly publishing houses, with which we join forces to make the application offer even more attractive. We want it to be the first choice for anyone looking for first-class stories.
Above all, however, we want PulpUp to be a place where the pulp community gathers. We want it to be a source of news, but also a space where you look not only for ready-made content, but also an outlet for your talents. So there will be a place for your work, and the application and the materials contained therein will therefore support our writing school. Thanks to this, you will gain the opportunity to learn how to tell your stories, regardless of the form you decide to take.
