The Line of Hope mobile application is a free application supporting all activities carried out in the event of the disappearance of a minor. Through it, users will be informed about searches with a detailed description and photo of the missing person. Increasing the sources of publication of the image of the missing person significantly increases the possibility of its effective finding. In addition, the application provides information on what to do in the event of finding a missing person and the basic principles of first aid.
The Line of Hope application was created as part of the project "Operating an emergency telephone number for missing children in 2020" co-financed by the Ministry of the Interior and Administration. The application supports the hotline for missing children as a source of information and contact between people and police stations. The operator of the application is the Nadzieja Rescue Group, which has been actively participating in search campaigns conducted by the Police for years.
What's in the app?

- a system of messages informing about the start or end of a search for missing persons,
- possibility of direct connection with an appropriate exploration unit,
- possibility of direct connection to the hotline for missing children,
- basics of first aid,
- advice on how to proceed in the event of finding a missing person.
How does the application work?
When you start searching for a missing person, you will receive a message in the application with a photo and a detailed description of that person. You can open the application anywhere and check if you have seen a similar person. If you notice a missing person, click the red CALL button. You will be connected to the appropriate Police unit that is conducting the search. Additionally, if you give your consent, the application dispatcher may receive your phone number and your GPS location, which may help find the missing person. You'll also see a list of all currently missing people in the app.
