About this app
jamDrop is a daily music game between friends. Each day, everyone gets the same theme, and everyone chooses one song that best suits them.
Themes vary: "a song for the first day of summer" or "something that's been played at every house party." You choose a song from Spotify, add a short description, and if something better comes to mind, you can swap it out. The next day, the group blindly votes for the best entry. The results are visible only after you cast your own vote, and the winner takes home a trophy for the group leaderboard.
In jamDrop:
- a new theme every day, shared by everyone
- one entry per day, straight from Spotify, with an optional description
- reactions and comments on friends' entries
- secret group voting and a leaderboard
- a streak for playing day after day
- each song opens in Spotify with a single tap
