About this app

KolejAlert is a social media app for rail passengers in Poland. Report and track delays, breakdowns, and disruptions on the tracks—together with other travelers.

Inform, react, and stay up to date!

• Live Alerts – View reports from other passengers about delays, breakdowns, and route changes
• Event Map – See what's happening on your route on a map of Poland
• Custom Reports – Add an alert with a description, optionally with a photo and location
• Watched Trains – Track selected trains and receive notifications of changes
• Live Location – Share the train's position and speed in real time
• GPS Route Recording – Record your journey and view your routes on the map
• Official PLK Data – Compare community reports with official delay data
• Comments and Ratings – Verify the credibility of reports with the community
• Gamification – Earn points, badges, and compete in the passenger rankings

Information in the app comes from two sources: reports from the passenger community and official PLK S.A. data (PDP). KolejAlert supplements the Passenger Portal with current information from people traveling on a given train – it does not replace the carrier's official announcements.

GPS is only used when you enable route recording, live streaming, or report a location alert. Consent is required in your phone's settings – you can disable it at any time.

The app was created for people traveling by train in Poland – commuting to work, university, or on longer journeys – who want to be informed more quickly about delays and problems along the way.
