About this app
Matufy is an app for preparing for the Advanced Matura exam in English (2023 format, exam in May 2027).
Check your progress and practice on real CKE exam papers at your own pace.
WHAT YOU'LL FIND IN MATUFY
• Placement test. 22 questions that show your approximate level (from A1 to C1) and translate it into a score range for the Advanced Matura exam. No bullshit: you get an honest range, not just one made-up number. The more you solve, the narrower the range.
• 8 original CKE exam papers from 2023-2026: Listening, Reading, Use of English, and Writing. You complete each section separately, and each section shows you the number of tasks and how long it will take. The entire paper is 150 minutes long, but you can spread it out over as many attempts as you like.
• Path, which includes grammar and vocabulary in short exercises. There are 18 sections of grammar alone: tenses, conditionals, passive voice, reported speech, inversion, infinitive vs. gerund, and more. The vocabulary is still growing, as we add new CKE thematic areas.
• Closed-ended tasks are tested immediately, with a brief explanation of why the correct answer is correct.
• Writing with a word counter. Write an essay, then reveal a model answer and evaluate yourself according to the CKE criteria described in human language. The model answer is hidden until you reveal it yourself, so you won't see it while writing. Each written topic has one in every paper.
• A daily challenge at your own pace. Bear is one task per day, Wolf two, and Cheetah four when you're close to the final exam. You set your pace at the start and change it whenever you want.
• Results for sections and entire papers are saved in your account. You can start without registering, and create an account whenever you want to save your results.
