About this game

One phone. One secret word. One impostor.

Everyone at the table sees the same word — everyone except one player, who sees only a hint. Talk your way through the round, work out who is faking it, and vote them out. Or, if the phone hands you the hint, bluff until nobody is left to catch you.

HOW A ROUND GOES
• Pass the phone round the table. Each player sees their role in private.
• Say one word about the secret word. Too obvious and the impostor learns it; too clever and your own friends suspect you.
• Argue. Accuse. Notice who stays quiet.
• Vote — a secret ballot passed round the table, or a show of hands. Your table decides.

BUILT FOR A REAL TABLE
• 3 to 12 players, one phone between all of you.
• No account, no sign-up, no internet. It works on a train and in a cabin.
• A round takes minutes. Learning the rules takes thirty seconds.
• The phone never interrupts the argument — the argument is the game.

The hints are local: the thing you grew up with, the advert everyone remembers, the joke an outsider would not get. That is the difference between a round that feels written for your friends and one that feels imported.
