Art Gallery Jana Tarasina was established in 1977 as the Art Exhibition Office.
The mission of the Gallery is to conduct exhibition and educational activities, disseminate knowledge about contemporary art - its precursors and classics, as well as those who set the latest trends and directions of thinking, introduce contemporary art to ever wider circles of recipients and take it into the public space.
We want to stimulate the intellectual and spiritual development of the city's inhabitants, develop creativity and sensitivity - not only aesthetic, but also ethical. We want to prepare for the reception and interpretation of contemporary art and to provoke discussion about it and the topics it raises.
