Fuel and Braking Efficiency:
The application calculates when to begin engine braking to economically reduce excessive speed (without using the braking system). A brightened screen indicates that by taking your foot off the gas, you can significantly reduce fuel consumption and brake wear.
Awareness of Speed Limits:
The application notifies you of speed limits, even in situations where signs may be obscured or hard to see, helping you avoid fines for speeding.
Visual Notifications of Speeding:
The application displays a simplified road diagram. Roads are shown in green if your speed is appropriate, or red if the speed is exceeded. Each segment displays a speed limit sign that enlarges when the distance is less than what is needed to economically reduce speed using the engine.
Audio Alerts:
In the event of speeding, the application will immediately play a message with the current speed limit and will repeat this message at intervals depending on the extent of the speed limit violation.
Minimizing Distractions:
In standby mode, the screen remains dimmed to reduce distractions. During deceleration or stopping, the screen brightness returns to normal, improving visibility.
Offline Functionality:
The application does not require an internet connection, making it ideal for use abroad without worrying about additional roaming charges. It always includes a map of the entire Earth, so you will never drive outside the mapped area. The cost of the memory used is less than the cost of the lowest fine for speeding.
GPX Files:
The application’s directory stores GPX files that can serve as proof of adhering to speed limits, giving you peace of mind while passing speed cameras.
