Bembete POS is the mobile point-of-sale application from the Bembete ecosystem, designed for businesses that need to process payments quickly and continue selling even if the connection fails.

With Bembete POS, you can collect payments from your phone, keep your catalog organized, and review your daily sales without relying on a computer or a traditional cash register.

WHAT YOU CAN DO

- Log in with your Bembete account and work within your own store.

- Switch between the catalogs you belong to without losing your session.

- Search for products by name from the sales screen.

- Add products to the cart with fractional quantities (kg, g, lb, l, ml) or by unit.

- Collect payments in cash or by bank transfer.

- Automatically calculate change when receiving an amount greater than the total.

- Record the sale and save it immediately to your device.

- Sync sales with the cloud when you regain internet access. - Check your daily sales, open a ticket, and review the amount charged.

- Perform the daily cash register closing and save an auditable record.

- Create, edit, and deactivate products from the administration module.

- Configure catalog exchange rates when selling in currencies other than CUP.

- Invite and manage salespeople with different permissions.

TRUE OFFLINE-FIRST

POS Bembete was built for real-world scenarios: areas with intermittent network coverage, power outages, and slow connections.

- Sales are saved first on the device and are never lost due to lack of network access.

- The app continues to function even if you lose internet access in the middle of a sale.

- When you regain connection, your sales are automatically uploaded to the server.

- The synchronization status is always visible: you know what's pending, what failed, and when it's complete.

SECURITY AND CONTROL

- Your session resides locally on the device for 7 days without needing to be revalidated.

- Sales are immutable: once recorded, they retain the price and unit used at that moment.

- Reports are always generated from the original sale, not from a retroactive calculation.

- Each vendor operates under their own permissions. The owner defines who can close the register, void tickets, or manage the catalog.

- Stores and micro-businesses in Cuba that accept payments in CUP.

- Operations with multiple vendors at the same point of sale.

- Businesses that require daily auditing and a simple register closing process.

LIMITATIONS OF THIS VERSION

POS Bembete is in closed testing. This version is optimized for sales in CUP. Operations in USD, EUR, and MLC are still under validation, and we do not recommend generating these sales yet. Mixed payments within a single transaction are not available in this version.

PERMISSIONS

- Camera and Gallery: Only so you can assign photos to your products, your store logo, and the catalog cover. Photos are processed locally and only uploaded to the server when you confirm saving.

- Network: To synchronize sales and download the catalog.
