The worshipers of the beast will receive the mark on their foreheads or right hands, symbolic of their decision to serve this apostate system with their minds and actions.
At the same time, the world will witness a great proclamation of the gospel, the like of which has not been seen since the days of Pentecost. Before God's judgments are poured out on rebellious humanity, God will send warning messages from him.
Satan's activities are worldwide; therefore, the proclamation of the gospel at the end time will also be worldwide. God does not want anyone to perish, but everyone to be saved; therefore, the death of Christ was for all humanity. The question is who will accept that offer and who will not.
The irony here is obvious: the birth of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, with its emphasis on the biblical six-day creation, coincided with the public presentation of evolutionary thinking. Was this a coincidence? We think not.
Seventh-day Adventists have seen themselves as commissioned to present a special message to the world, which we call "The Three Angels' Messages" of Revelation 14:6-12. Our purpose here is to explore the meaning of these messages and its relationship with the doctrine of Creation.
