The Beach app connects you to what's happening at the beach in real time. Before leaving home, check the sand, sea, and weather conditions, discover nearby beaches, and follow information shared by the community itself.

Quickly see how crowded and clean the sand is, the activity level, water appearance and temperature, as well as sky and wind conditions. Reports help others choose the best time to go to the beach, avoid unforeseen events, and enjoy the day more safely and peacefully.

With the Beach app, you can:

• Find nearby beaches using your location;

• Search for beaches, beach bars, and vendors by name;

• Check distance, current conditions, and water quality;

• View information about sand, sea, weather, waves, and wind;

• Share quick reports on beach conditions;

• Follow recent reports from the community;

• Receive alerts and important information about the region;

• Save your favorite beaches;
• Locate stalls, shops, and street vendors;

• Learn about available products before placing an order;

• Find nearby vendors and request service;

• Explore the map and discover what's around you.

Reports are simple and quick. Report if the beach is empty, moderately crowded, or full; clean, moderately crowded, or dirty; if the sea is calm, moderately crowded, or rough; if the water is clear, normal, or murky; cold, pleasant, or warm; in addition to sun, rain, and wind intensity conditions.

Each contribution helps someone: a family can avoid rough seas, a person can find a quieter beach, and someone can better prepare for rain or strong winds.

Some technical information, such as weather forecasts, wind, waves, and water quality, may be provided by external sources and official bodies. Community reports complement this data with the perception of those who are on site.

Praia was created to make the coastal experience more informed, connected, and practical — from choosing a beach to buying a product on the sand.
