The Firmware Update App is used to update ProCutter Standard and ProCutter ZOOM using an encrypted firmaware file.
The connection is via WLAN and has the same requirements as the Precitec ProCutter 2.0 App.
After a successfull login, the main screen opens, with status field, file explorer and update button. The name of the head and the firmware version in the head are noted in the status field.
The explorer can be used to navigate to the update file, only folders and files with the extension .aes are displayed. This file is sent separately and must be loaded into the memory of the smartphone/tablet. The file name must not be changed. Below the explorer there is a file path field in which the current path from the explorer is displayed. Beside the field there is a back-button to navigate back in the explorer.
If the file is selected, the update can be started via the download button. A loading bar appears with a percentage display.
After a successfull download, the head is restarted.
