PressOn is a CPR training game that playfully introduces the basic principles of high-quality chest compressions. Through interactive gameplay you practice the correct compression rate and depth while also experiencing AED use and multi-rescuer coordination.
How the game works
Swipe on the screen to perform chest compressions. The game continuously measures your rate and depth and gives immediate visual and audio feedback. You are guided toward the target values used in the simulation: 100–120 compressions per minute and 5–6 cm depth with full chest recoil. A short calibration maps your natural gesture to realistic depth, so you can focus on developing the right rhythm and pressure.
Two training modes
• Basic – continuous compressions plus AED
• Advanced – 30:2 cycles with ventilations and AED
AED practice
When the defibrillator becomes available, follow the on-screen prompts: hands off during analysis and deliver a shock only when the game advises it.
Feedback & scoring
Every compression is evaluated for rate quality, depth quality and hand position. Consecutive correct compressions build a multiplier. Bonus points are awarded for accurate 30:2 cycles, correctly delivered shocks and continued high-quality compressions until the virtual ambulance arrives. Pauses and poor technique reduce the score, reinforcing the importance of continuous, effective compressions.
City environments
Select different locations around the world. Each setting features its own ambulance visuals, lights and characteristic siren sounds, as well as AED audio in the local language. Keep compressing until the ambulance arrives and the round ends.
Supportive features
• Optional on-screen metronome to lock in the correct rate
• Optional CPR sound effects
• Clear step-by-step guidance for every phase (compressions, analysis, charging, shock)
• Portrait-optimized interface
Important notice
