Screenflex Player turns a TV, Android box or tablet into a managed digital signage display.

This app is the player for the Screenflex signage platform. It does not work on its own: you need a Screenflex account, and you schedule content from the Screenflex web dashboard. The app itself has no login and no content of its own.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Install the app and open it. It shows a pairing code.
2. Sign in to your Screenflex dashboard and add the screen using that code.
3. Publish content. The screen downloads it and starts playing.

WHAT IT PLAYS
Images, video, text and rich layouts built in the Screenflex editor, plus widgets such as clocks, weather, QR codes, product catalogues, tables, charts and web pages. Layouts adapt to the shape and resolution of the screen.

KEEPS PLAYING WHEN THE NETWORK DOESN'T
Media is downloaded and cached on the device before it is needed, so playback continues through an outage. The screen picks up changes automatically when the connection returns.

BUILT TO RUN UNATTENDED
- Restarts and resumes playback automatically after a reboot or power cut
- Can be set as the device home app so it returns to playback on its own
- Recovers from playback errors without leaving a blank screen
- Optional display power control over HDMI-CEC on supported hardware

MANAGE SCREENS REMOTELY
See which screens are online, what each one is playing, and device health such as storage and connection type. Push content updates, reload a screen or capture a screenshot to confirm what is on the display, all from the dashboard.

DESIGNED FOR TELEVISIONS
Landscape and portrait orientation, remote control and D-pad navigation, and a full-screen player with no browser chrome.

- A Screenflex account and at least one available screen license - An internet connection for setup and for content updates
