About this app

In the OA App you will find the main news from the Portuguese Bar Association (OA) and you can consult its daily events on the agenda. You will also have the possibility to add an event from the Order's agenda to your agenda and personal events.

With this application any citizen can locate a Lawyer through geo-location, and access the contacts of the General Council and Regional Councils of the Order, and also send us a message through the available form. If you want to find institutions in the area of ​​Justice, such as Courts, Civil and Land Registry Offices, Notaries, or others, you can search for their contacts in the Institutions application.

To access the application, the Lawyer must use the access credentials to the Restricted Area of ​​the OA Portal and there you will find several tools available.

In the OA App we provide the contacts of the main Justice Institutions are available for consultation and the Lawyer can suggest the inclusion of a public place, adding the contacts for validation. The Order's contacts and the search for contacts of Lawyers are also online.

Lawyers can read the Order's news in the application and access a monthly calendar with OA events, also having the possibility to create personal events in that calendar.

You are available to consult all personal information regarding the Bar Association Fees (pending payments, outstanding fees, paid fees, etc).

The OA App integrates the Digital Lawyer's Card, including the scanning of the professional card and the connection via QR code to the professional data available on the OA portal.

Access to the webmail of the Bar Association is also available.

In the application you will also have quick access to the Benefits of Lawyers, a discount platform with several brands, including exclusive partners of AO.

In the social area, the Lawyer can exchange text messages with other Lawyers or with groups made up of Lawyers, exchange files (images, videos, PDF) to/from a Lawyer; create group conversations.

You can schedule a video conference with other Lawyers or create an instant video conference with the Lawyer you are communicating with.

With the App, the Bar Association intends to provide access through mobile devices to the numerous features already available on the corporate portal (https://portal.oa.pt) while maintaining the quality of access to existing services and updated information, as well as offering new services closer to Lawyers and Citizens.
