Where the band plays is a digital calendar dedicated to promoting artistic events promoted by philharmonic and military bands in Portugal.

Launched in January 2019 with an exclusive focus on philharmonic bands, the project was born with the aim of valuing and giving greater visibility to the cultural activity of these institutions - true pillars of musical tradition and civic education in the country.

In response to the growth of the community and the recognition of the importance of other groups, the platform began to include, as of January 2023, concerts by military bands, historically relevant but with limited publicity.

Today, Onde Playa a Banda is a comprehensive, accessible and free cultural agenda, allowing any user to:

- Search for concerts by date, location or type of band
- Promote events independently and effectively

In 2025, the project will take another decisive step in its mission of proximity, with the launch of mobile applications for iOS and Android, providing an even more intuitive and immediate experience when searching for events.
